Product Description – G2 Sherco Tamer Throttle Tube

The G2 Sherco Tamer Throttle Tube uses a non-linear ratio between hand movement on the throttle and carburettor or EFI opening. The pulley, or as we call it, “cam” pulls the throttle cable as the rider rotates the grip/tube. By altering the stock, circular shaped cam, there is a huge improvement in control. For the Sherco models the Throttle Tamer includes a 400 style cam profile, which begins about 20% smaller than stock. This increases control greatly for the first 1/2 of the throttle range. After that, the cam ramps up to the stock ratio, which keeps overall rotation similar to stock. This is the ratio used by 2020 AMA National Enduro Champ Grant Baylor!

G2 cams for your G2 Sherco Tamer Throttle Tube are changeable! You are never stuck with a ratio that is not correct for your skill or track condition! You can always go back to the stock ratio for moto or conditions with ideal traction! G2 cams for 4 stroke models are machined in the USA from 6061 billet aluminium.
